Nonprofit Hub creates home for NPOs, offers opportunities

All nonprofit organization have one thing in common—they’re built to achieve something special.

At its core, Nonprofit Hub was established to help nonprofits succeed at achieving their goals.

There are two main ways that Nonprofit Hub helps organizations achieve their missions – education and a newly renovated space to collaborate.
The inspiration for Nonprofit Hub came in 2011 when we realized the need for education in the nonprofit sector. Nonprofits often have great ideas but need help making them happen. Plus, nonprofits are on a budget and can’t necessarily afford to pay for education. Enter Nonprofit Hub—we provide free education from leading industry experts. Plus, we have a dedicated staff with the full-time job of finding the latest and greatest in nonprofit content.

Content comes in a variety of forms on Nonprofit Hub's site including articles, videos and downloadable guides. We also host webinars at no cost with industry experts on everything from nonprofit marketing to crowdfunding and fundraising tactics. Plus, our staff is available to answer any questions that nonprofits have.

In 2015, Nonprofit Hub expanded beyond education after learning that many nonprofits were working out of coffee shops and on kitchen tables. Nonprofits are built with love. At Nonprofit Hub we believe that organizations deserve a place to work that was built with love.

The two-level, 12,000-square-foot office offers a space to work for up to 100 people each day. Nonprofit Hub has 13 private offices and 12 ultra-private cubicles available, plus 44 desks that can be rented on a day-to-day basis. The unique plan makes it not just a space for organizations in Lincoln but the environment is perfect for nonprofits visiting the city and need a space to use, even if only for a day.

The state-of-the-art conference center and classroom will accommodate up to 50 people. In addition, there are three eight-person meeting rooms and a fully equipped 12-person meeting room available to organizations.

Also, every Wednesday nonprofit professionals are invited to use the space at no cost during what we call, “Hub Day.” Whether you just need a change of scenery for the day or you’re looking to try out Nonprofit Hub on a more permanent basis, Hub Day allows nonprofit organizations to try the space out. We also bring in local speakers on Wednesdays to provide an added value of the space.
